Habitat on Ray Roberts
Upper-arm flooded timber, dam and bridge riprap, plants, channels, submerged points and brush piles provide structure.
Fishing approach
Lake guide guidance: Bass use deeper points in cold weather and shallower flats in spring. Crappie gather near deeper structure in winter and move shallow to spawn; jigs or minnows are suggested.
Fishing guidance describes documented approaches, not a promise of fish activity today.
No active lake-specific advisory or possession ban was named in the reviewed DSHS directory. This does not guarantee that fish are safe to eat.
Harvest permission and eating restrictions are separate.
General species guide
