Habitat on Grapevine

Twin Coves has flooded timber. Rocky banks, submerged boulders and docks add cover.

Fishing approach

Lake guide guidance: TPWD identifies rock and drop-offs for bass, fresh shad for blue catfish, and docks or timber for crappie. White bass use the aerated intake area near the dam.

Fishing guidance describes documented approaches, not a promise of fish activity today.

Eating guidance · Spotted Bass

No active lake-specific advisory or possession ban was named in the reviewed DSHS directory. This does not guarantee that fish are safe to eat.

Harvest permission and eating restrictions are separate.
